Ferrari F355 F1-HL Complete Hydraulic System Rebuild

GTE Engineering rebuilds the Ferrari F355 F1-HL hydraulic system in-house as a complete, coordinated assembly. This $12,000 USD send-in rebuild service covers the F1 actuator, hydraulic power unit and a full new hose set, together with a new accumulator, new electric pump motor, seals, cleaning and component refurbishment.

What the full system rebuild includes

• F1 actuator rebuild.
• Hydraulic power unit rebuild.
• Complete new hydraulic hose set.
• New hydraulic accumulator.
• Brand-new electric pump motor.
• Replacement of all seals within the serviced actuator and power unit.
• Cleaning and refurbishment of the system components.
• Testing of all electrovalves and the existing potentiometers.

Potentiometers and electrovalves

Potentiometers are tested, but their rebuild or replacement is not included in the $12,000 service. Any issue identified during testing will be discussed with the customer.

All electrovalves are tested. If an electrovalve requires replacement, GTE will inform the customer of the additional parts cost for approval before replacement. There is no additional labor charge for electrovalve replacement performed as part of this system rebuild.

Send the complete system, including the hoses

Because of the unique configuration of this F355 F1-HL assembly, the complete system and its existing hose set must be sent to GTE Engineering for rebuilding. Contact us before shipping so we can confirm the required components, packing arrangements and current receiving address.

This is a rebuild of the customer's supplied hydraulic system. It is not a complete mechanical transmission or clutch rebuild.

Recommended TCU upgrade — inquire before ordering

GTE Engineering strongly recommends discussing an upgraded transmission control unit (TCU) for the Ferrari F355 F1, particularly given the age of the original electronics. Suitable TCUs are extremely difficult to source.

Estimated TCU price: approximately $5,800 USD, if available. The TCU is optional, sold separately and not included in the $12,000 hydraulic system rebuild.
