GTE Engineering rebuilds customer-supplied Getrag 7DCL750 dual-clutch transmissions for applicable Ferrari, Mercedes-AMG and Ford GT applications. The available service options are Stage 1 – Tear-down & Inspection and Stage 3 – A-Service Kit & Peephole Fix.

This is a rebuild service for your existing transmission. Confirm the transmission identification and repair requirements before selecting a stage. Additional repairs and performance upgrades are quoted after inspection.

Inspection, additional repairs and upgrades

Stage 1 covers tear-down and inspection only. All replacement parts and electronics are additional. Following inspection, separately quoted service parts and work may include:

• Refurbishing the SAP and CCP hydraulic units

Only parts and services specified in the agreed estimate are included. Clutch replacement, other internal repairs and performance upgrades are also separately quoted.

GTE will provide an updated estimate and request authorization before carrying out work outside the purchased scope. Contact us to discuss a separately quoted Dodson Motorsport upgrade where appropriate.

Shipping and installation

1. Request a transmission rebuild quote or confirm the selected stage with GTE. Include fault codes, diagnostic findings and photographs of the unit's identification.
2. Follow the shipping instructions and arrange suitable packing and freight for the removed transmission. Checkout shipping covers its return from GTE; inbound shipping and insurance are separate.
3. GTE inspects the received unit and confirms any additional repair requirements and turnaround.
4. The installing workshop completes the correct fluid fill, vehicle-specific setup, calibration and post-installation checks. Confirm the current applicable procedure with GTE before installation.

Am I purchasing a replacement transmission?

No. The displayed stages cover work on your customer-supplied transmission. Contact GTE if you need another supply arrangement.

Does Stage 1 include replacement parts or electronics?

No. Stage 1 includes tear-down and inspection only. Parts, electronics and refurbishing the SAP and CCP hydraulic units are additional quoted work.

Does every stage include a new clutch or synchronizers?

No. Replacement of those components must be specifically included in the estimate. The installed components are assessed during inspection.

Can GTE diagnose the complete vehicle from the removed transmission?

Component inspection does not replace complete vehicle diagnosis. The installer remains responsible for vehicle-side electrical, cooling, fluid, installation and calibration checks.

How long does the rebuild take?

Turnaround depends on the received condition, selected work and parts availability. Confirm the schedule with GTE rather than treating catalog availability as a completion date.
