Aston Martin Clutch Rebuilds: Assembly and Fitment Checks
Start with the installed clutch
Aston Martin model names and transmission descriptions are not enough to establish clutch compatibility. Record the assembly reference, vehicle configuration and any modifications. Compare those details with the relevant product listing before ordering.
Keep V8 and V12 applications separate
A V8 Sportshift service should not be inferred from a V12 Vantage, DBS or DB7 listing. Likewise, similar part references in a catalogue do not remove the need to confirm the actual application. The buyer and installing workshop remain responsible for fitment.
Select the specified rebuild option
Where offered for the assembly, PEGA Stage 1 uses organic material and Stage 3 uses Kevlar. Review the included work and any separate flywheel service. A clutch rebuild does not automatically include ASM hydraulic-unit repairs.
Provide diagnostic context
Describe engagement or shifting concerns and include existing workshop findings. Confirm shipment contents before dispatch. The correct installation and setup procedure remains essential after the component is returned.
