Lamborghini SC63: Gearbox Development and Road-Car Context
A dedicated racing programme
Lamborghini introduced the SC63 as its hybrid endurance-racing prototype. Its official model information describes a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 combined with an electric motor. This is motorsport context, not a service specification for a Gallardo or Aventador.
What Lamborghini published about the gearbox
In its August 2023 Imola test report, Lamborghini described gearshift calibration work on the Xtrac gearbox. The report explains that the LMDh gearbox is standardized while allowing manufacturer choices concerning gear ratios and mechanical differential slip. These are documented development details; they do not disclose every internal component or calibration.
Avoid transferring race specifications to road cars
A road-car rebuild must use the parts and procedures applicable to the actual road-car transmission. The SC63's racing programme does not establish compatibility with an Aventador clutch, nor does it imply that GTE Engineering supplies or services SC63 components.
