The Ferrari 612 was an interesting transition car for Ferrari, as it retained the F133 engine lineage from earlier V12 models, but was built on a completely new all-aluminium chassis like its 599 brother. This more advanced chassis makes for a truly captivating drive when the mood takes you, which is why it's unfortunate that nearly all 612s were delivered with the F1 transmission, sadly robbing the driver of the last layer of engagement with the car.
