Serkan Oz brings more than 25 years of automotive technical experience to specialist diagnostics, component rebuilding and parts development, including more than 15 years working with Ferrari and other high-performance European vehicles.

A third-generation automotive background

Born in Munich, Germany, Serkan grew up in a family with a longstanding automotive background, including his father's career with BMW. His technical foundation combines mechanical work with electrical and electronic systems, reinforced by naval service involving electronics and communications.

That background shapes GTE Engineering's approach: understand how the complete system operates, investigate the cause of a fault, and define the work required before proceeding with component repair or replacement.

Specialist technical experience

Serkan's work spans workshop diagnosis, precision component rebuilding and the development of service solutions for demanding automotive applications.

• Automated-manual systems: Ferrari F1, Lamborghini E-Gear, Maserati Cambiocorsa and Aston Martin ASM hydraulic systems.
• Transmission rebuilding: Getrag 7DCL750 and Graziano applications, including MT-1, L140 and DL800.
• Clutch development: PEGA Clutch rebuilding and performance lining options, supported by flywheel servicing and balancing.
• Vehicle systems: Ferrari FF Power Transfer Units, engine restoration, and mechanical and electrical diagnostics.

Training & professional development

Serkan's education and training include automotive technology, electrical and electronic systems, factory-level Ferrari and Maserati training, and specialist mechatronics studies.

• Technical vocational education in electrical, electronic and automotive systems.
• Automotive technician studies at PENN Automotive Institute.
• Ferrari Accademia training in Italy and Maserati Academy training in the United Kingdom.
• Automotive electromechanical training and TÜV Class 5 mechatronics certification.
• Training and certification in teaching automotive techniques.

In 2008, Serkan placed among the top five in the Ferrari Technician Challenge.
