Warranty and Rebuild Coverage

GTE Engineering LLC (“GTE Engineering,” “we,” “us,” or “our”)

This warranty applies only to parts manufactured or rebuilt by GTE Engineering LLC or PEGA Clutch™. All other parts sold through our platform or in-store are subject to the warranty terms of the original manufacturer or vendor. This Rebuild Warranty & Craftsmanship Declaration (“Warranty Declaration”) is part of and subject to the Terms of Service available at terms‑of-service

(“Terms”). Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms.

1. Warranty Coverage

1.1 Clutch Rebuilds & Non-Oil-Driven Parts — 1-Year Craftsmanship Warranty

GTE Engineering warrants that clutch rebuilds and non-oil-driven parts furnished by us will be free from defects in workmanship and rebuild-related materials for a period of one (1) year from the original date of delivery to the purchaser. This warranty does not cover normal wear, misuse, or items excluded in Section 3.

1.2 Oil-Driven Parts Rebuilds — 90-Day Warranty

All oil-driven parts rebuilds (including PTUs, transmissions, hydraulic units, and oil-immersed systems) carry a 90-day limited warranty covering workmanship and rebuild-related materials.

1.3 Warranty Remedies

If, during the applicable warranty period, a covered defect arises and a valid claim is received, and the defect is found to be caused by workmanship or rebuild-related materials, GTE Engineering’s sole obligation and the purchaser’s exclusive remedy will be, at GTE Engineering’s discretion:

Replacement or rebuilding of the defective part with the same or equivalent rebuilt component.

For parts installed by GTE Engineering’s workshop, labor related to removal, reinstallation, and testing of defective parts is included under warranty, provided all other conditions of this Warranty Declaration are met.

Partial failures may, at GTE Engineering’s discretion, result in full rebuild or replacement of the affected system.

Labor costs, shipping, removal and installation costs, diagnostic charges, towing, rental vehicles, or other incidental costs are not covered unless expressly stated in writing.

2. Conditions to Warranty

2.1 Proper Installation by Qualified Professionals

Warranty coverage is valid only if the product is installed by a licensed, qualified, and certified automotive repair facility (“Qualified Installer”) following OEM procedures and all applicable service requirements. Warranty claims will be void if:

The product is installed by a DIY (Do-It-Yourself) individual or a non-certified installer; or

The installer fails to follow proper OEM or GTE Engineering installation, diagnostic, adaptation, calibration, or break-in procedures.

GTE Engineering expressly denies and does not provide any warranty coverage for parts installed by DIY individuals or non-certified persons. Because we cannot verify competency, training, or procedures, warranty coverage is automatically void upon DIY installation.

Non-Transferability: This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable to subsequent owners.

In-House Labor Coverage: All installations, adjustments, and labor performed by GTE Engineering’s own workshop on parts manufactured or rebuilt by GTE Engineering or PEGA Clutch™ are subject to the same warranty terms and conditions as the parts themselves. Labor for installations performed in our workshop will be covered only in conjunction with eligible parts and under the conditions outlined in this Warranty Declaration.

2.2 Documentation and Proof Required

To submit a warranty claim, the claimant must provide:

Proof of purchase: the original invoice or receipt for the rebuilt part.

Proof of paid installation: a paid invoice from the installing workshop confirming professional installation.

Insurance certificate: if applicable, proof of the vehicle’s insurance at the time of installation.

Installing workshop information: name, contact information, and certification/license details of the workshop that performed the installation.

Diagnostic evidence or part return: photos, test data, or physical return of the part when requested.

Important: Any new, used, or rebuilt parts sold or resold through GTE Engineering LLC, but not originally manufactured or rebuilt by GTE Engineering or PEGA Clutch™, are not covered under this warranty. Customers acknowledge and agree that any warranty claims for such third-party parts must be submitted directly to the original manufacturer or authorized vendor, and not to GTE Engineering LLC

Failure to provide all required documentation will void warranty coverage. GTE Engineering reserves the right to verify all documents and contact the installing workshop to confirm compliance with warranty conditions.

2.3 System Diagnostics & Verification

The installation workshop must:

Perform full system diagnostics

Confirm correct clutch values, pressures, calibrations, and adaptations

Ensure no external mechanical or electrical faults exist

Validate proper alignment, setup, and post-installation testing

Additionally, GTE Engineering strongly recommends obtaining a “before” and “after” NODE (or related system) printout for all rebuilds. This assists the customer and workshop in documenting proper system operation and provides objective evidence in the event of a malfunction. This procedure is consistent with authorized dealership practices.

2.4 Proper Maintenance & Operation

The vehicle must be maintained according to OEM standards. Failures caused by lack of maintenance, contamination, or improper fluids are excluded. Use of non-OEM fluids, additives, or incompatible components will void the warranty.

3. Exclusions and Limitations

This limited warranty does not cover any failures or damages resulting from:

Normal wear and tear or wear items (friction linings, consumables, or materials that wear during use)

Improper installation, adjustment, modification, or maintenance by non-qualified personnel

Misuse, abuse, neglect, contamination, accident, collision, overheating, or lack of maintenance

Failures due to unrelated vehicle systems (electrical faults, control modules, sensors, driveline misalignment, inadequate cooling, etc.)

Unauthorized alteration, repair, or modification of the product after delivery

Tuned or Modified Vehicles: Warranty does not cover any parts, whether supplied by GTE Engineering, PEGA Clutch™, or any third-party vendor/reseller, installed in vehicles that have been modified, tuned, or altered from OEM specifications, including but not limited to:

  • Engine or transmission software tuning / ECU remaps
  • Exhaust modifications
  • Suspension or drivetrain modifications outside OEM specifications
  • Racing applications, track-only use, or any other non-OEM modifications

Parts manufactured, rebuilt, or supplied by third parties other than GTE Engineering LLC or PEGA Clutch™, even if purchased through GTE Engineering’s platform or resale channels. Warranty claims for such parts must be directed to the original manufacturer or authorized distributor/vendor.

Under no circumstances will GTE Engineering be liable for incidental, special, consequential, indirect, or punitive damages, including loss of use, diminished vehicle value, loss of income, accidents, towing, rental costs, or vehicle downtime. All implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of the express warranty period to the maximum extent permitted by law.

4. Claim and Inspection Procedures

All warranty claims are subject to inspection by GTE Engineering or its designated representative. Warranty coverage will not apply unless GTE Engineering inspects the returned product or receives sufficient evidence to determine the nature of the failure. Products must be returned at the claimant’s expense unless otherwise instructed.

GTE Engineering reserves the right to designate where and how inspection takes place. No part of this warranty is effective until the claimant receives written authorization or claim approval from GTE Engineering.

4.1 Warranty Inspection Duration and Legal Costs

Inspection and evaluation of any warranty claim may take up to three (3) months from the date the product is received or diagnostic evidence is submitted.

If a legal action is initiated concerning a warranty claim, and GTE Engineering prevails, the customer shall be responsible for all costs incurred by GTE Engineering including inspection fees, labor, administrative time, shipping, and other related expenses.

GTE Engineering is not responsible for diminished vehicle value, accidents, loss, or other consequential damages, as detailed in the Terms and Conditions.

This provision does not limit or affect any other rights or remedies available under this Warranty Declaration or applicable law.

5. Relationship to Terms of Service

This Warranty Declaration is incorporated into and governed by the Terms found at terms‑of-service

  • . The Terms contain additional provisions concerning warranties, liability limitations, dispute resolution, and governing law.

6. Reservation of Rights

GTE Engineering reserves the right to modify, update, or supplement this Rebuild Warranty at any time, including terms, procedures, and documentation requirements, without prior notice to any customer.

Such updates do not limit, reduce, or void the express warranty coverage for parts previously sold or services previously performed.

GTE Engineering retains the right to access records, invoices, and service documentation at any time to verify compliance with warranty conditions.

The date of purchase, installation, and submitted documentation will be used to determine warranty eligibility, regardless of subsequent updates or changes to this Warranty Declaration.

7. Jurisdiction, Shipping, and Scope of Warranty

Customer Consent for Shipping & Warranty Processing:

  • By purchasing any part from GTE Engineering LLC, whether domestically or internationally, the customer consents to ship the part to the location determined by GTE Engineering for warranty inspection, evaluation, repair, or replacement.
