Part identification
OE assembly reference: 9G33-7540-BD (9G337540BD). This reference identifies the clutch plate and housing assembly. It is not a verified standalone pressure-plate number.
Vehicle identification
- Make: Aston Martin
- Model: V8 Vantage and V8 Vantage S
- Year filter: 2009–2018
- OE reference: 9G33-7540-BD
Year filters are a search aid, not a guarantee that every model and transmission combination fits. Have your dealer or qualified installer verify the VIN, engine, transmission and installed part number. V8 Vantage S applications begin in 2011; earlier years in the filter apply to V8 Vantage. This listing is for the earlier 4.7-litre V8 generation, not the later 4.0-litre twin-turbo Vantage.
Application
V8 Vantage and V8 Vantage S with 4.7-litre engines and ASM / Sportshift. Listed in both six-speed and seven-speed Sportshift clutch diagrams. The six-speed catalogue specifies from 2009 model year. Aston Martin bulletin SB-08-0378 confirms earlier 4.7-litre applications; Vantage S before VIN C15702 may require an ASM software update.
Provide engine, transmission and existing clutch number before ordering. Manual and Sportshift assemblies have separate catalogue references. A shared appearance or cover-type marking does not establish interchangeability.
Rebuild options
- Stage 1 Organic — $1,200 USD. Rebuild with PEGA organic clutch lining.
- Stage 3 Kevlar — $1,800 USD. Rebuild with PEGA Kevlar clutch lining.
The price is for the clutch rebuild service. Flywheel work, release bearing or slave cylinder, hydraulic-system repairs, installation and calibration require separate agreement. Contact GTE to confirm the core condition and agreed scope before shipping.
Optional flywheel service: $340 USD, subject to inspection and serviceability. Clutch rebuild plus flywheel service totals $1,540 for Stage 1 Organic or $2,140 for Stage 3 Kevlar, before shipping, tax and any separately agreed work.
Related component references
Associated flywheel reference: 9G33-6375-AB. The Sportshift diagrams also list slave cylinder 6G33-7A564-AA. These components are not included automatically.
Photographs
Photographs show PEGA Stage 1 and Stage 3 Kevlar single-disc clutch examples. They illustrate GTE rebuilding work; photographed flywheels are not included in the clutch price. Confirm the exact assembly against its original identification before ordering.
