Product Description
Product Description
Full Line LED 3rd Brake Light – High-Brightness Rear Center Stop Lamp Upgrade for Enhanced Visibility & Safety PN: ILUAL3BL.
As for all our LED-based products, PN: ILUAL3BL also integrates a Super Fast constant current driver. We would never power LEDs directly from the car's power supply, as the voltage may vary significantly. Furthermore, a car's power supply contains lots of electrical noise and turbulence, which must be filtered before powering LEDs. The constant current driver will provide a perfect, stable LED light and will make them last almost forever.
Together with our LED tail light solutions, this new LED 3rd brake light will perfectly complete the rear of your car. Several clients found that this LED 3rd brake light integrates much better with the bodywork than the original one!
It will considerably increase your SAFETY thanks to a response time 50 times faster than the OEM incandescent lamps! A new filament lamp will take approximately 250 milliseconds to reach 90% of its asymptotic light output, causing potential delays in responses by following drivers. Aging lamps may have even a doubled response time.
In addition to that, our LED center stop light evenly illuminates the ENTIRE light cluster, with 200% more light than the stock 3rd brake light. Your safety is our first concern!
This is not just a simple light, but it integrates many advanced technologies and features, which make this product incomparable to the original 3rd brake light:
Total reaction time of less than 5 milliseconds
100% identical reaction time as our ILUAL LED Tail Light Packages
The entire light cluster is illuminated
Integrated Super Fast constant current driver
Complete heat-proof protection
Specific vibration-absorbent rubber washers
Optimized red transparent optical lens
The LED light system is almost invisible when not illuminated
High-quality full line of LED light systems
Identical red color to our ILUAL LED Tail Light Kits
Very long distance visible red color, but not blinding at short distances
Never have to change the small filament lamps anymore, often charged at a high price by your dealer, and well more than the price of this kit.
Our integrated electronics make it compatible with F1 cars (no F1 failure light)
Our Ferrari LED 3rd brake light can be installed in place of the OEM light on the following Ferrari cars:
Maserati 4200 Spyder 2002+
Warning: for F1 cars on which aftermarket LED rear lights or LED lamps have been installed, which is not our LED rear lights package, you may have an F1 warning displayed on your dash when installing this FULL LINE LED 3RD BRAKE LIGHT. This is because such aftermarket LED rear lights do not integrate the needed features to avoid the F1 warning. In this case, you'll have to install our tool to avoid any F1 issues.
F-BRAKEFLASH OPTION - SAFETY BRAKE FLASHER ECU MODULE FOR CENTER BRAKE LIGHT - Version 3
In addition to this center LED Stop Light Cluster, please consider to completing it with our F-BrakeFlash Flasher ECU Module (please make your choice above when ordering): Directly connected to the center LED stop light (no specific installation required), this Smart ECU module will flash the center LED Stop Light when you brake to get more attention from drivers behind you and alert traffic to stop!
When the brake pedal is pressed, the center stop light will flash during the configured duration and at the configured speed (default 2 seconds - medium speed), then it will turn steady on. The duration of the flashes, as well as the flash speed, can easily be configured. It's also possible to set the module in continuous flash mode, which will make the center stop light flash as long as the brake pedal is pressed. It's now also possible to disable the ECU module, which will make the center stop light turn always steady on steadily.
The device features a unique reactivation timing system to minimize the annoyance of brake light flashes when the brakes are used in heavy traffic. Your Ferrari LED third brake light will flash the configured number of times the first time the brake pedal is pressed, then the flashing effect is disabled if the brakes are pressed during the configured period of time (configurable between 4 and 20 seconds - default 10 seconds). In other words, the center stop light will flash each time the brake pedal is pressed for less than the configured timing; otherwise, it will turn steady on.
It also features a unique Pulsing mode (by default disabled). When activated, the brake light will flash between full and partial intensity. The brake light is never turned fully off, but goes between fully ON and dimmed. Among 9 brightness levels can be configured.
With the provided switch, this ECU module can be easily configured, and it's now also possible to easily revert to the factory defaults.
Warranty
Warranty
GTE Engineering LLC (“GTE Engineering,” “we,” “us,” or “our”)
This warranty applies only to parts manufactured or rebuilt by GTE Engineering LLC or PEGA Clutch™. All other parts sold through our platform or in-store are subject to the warranty terms of the original manufacturer or vendor. This Rebuild Warranty & Craftsmanship Declaration (“Warranty Declaration”) is part of and subject to the Terms of Service available at terms‑of-service
(“Terms”). Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms.
1. Warranty Coverage
1.1 Clutch Rebuilds & Non-Oil-Driven Parts — 1-Year Craftsmanship Warranty
GTE Engineering warrants that clutch rebuilds and non-oil-driven parts furnished by us will be free from defects in workmanship and rebuild-related materials for a period of one (1) year from the original date of delivery to the purchaser. This warranty does not cover normal wear, misuse, or items excluded in Section 3.
1.2 Oil-Driven Parts Rebuilds — 90-Day Warranty
All oil-driven parts rebuilds (including PTUs, transmissions, hydraulic units, and oil-immersed systems) carry a 90-day limited warranty covering workmanship and rebuild-related materials.
1.3 Warranty Remedies
If, during the applicable warranty period, a covered defect arises and a valid claim is received, and the defect is found to be caused by workmanship or rebuild-related materials, GTE Engineering’s sole obligation and the purchaser’s exclusive remedy will be, at GTE Engineering’s discretion:
Replacement or rebuilding of the defective part with the same or equivalent rebuilt component.
For parts installed by GTE Engineering’s workshop, labor related to removal, reinstallation, and testing of defective parts is included under warranty, provided all other conditions of this Warranty Declaration are met.
Partial failures may, at GTE Engineering’s discretion, result in full rebuild or replacement of the affected system.
Labor costs, shipping, removal and installation costs, diagnostic charges, towing, rental vehicles, or other incidental costs are not covered unless expressly stated in writing.
2. Conditions to Warranty
2.1 Proper Installation by Qualified Professionals
Warranty coverage is valid only if the product is installed by a licensed, qualified, and certified automotive repair facility (“Qualified Installer”) following OEM procedures and all applicable service requirements. Warranty claims will be void if:
The product is installed by a DIY (Do-It-Yourself) individual or a non-certified installer; or
The installer fails to follow proper OEM or GTE Engineering installation, diagnostic, adaptation, calibration, or break-in procedures.
GTE Engineering expressly denies and does not provide any warranty coverage for parts installed by DIY individuals or non-certified persons. Because we cannot verify competency, training, or procedures, warranty coverage is automatically void upon DIY installation.
Non-Transferability: This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable to subsequent owners.
In-House Labor Coverage: All installations, adjustments, and labor performed by GTE Engineering’s own workshop on parts manufactured or rebuilt by GTE Engineering or PEGA Clutch™ are subject to the same warranty terms and conditions as the parts themselves. Labor for installations performed in our workshop will be covered only in conjunction with eligible parts and under the conditions outlined in this Warranty Declaration.
2.2 Documentation and Proof Required
To submit a warranty claim, the claimant must provide:
Proof of purchase: the original invoice or receipt for the rebuilt part.
Proof of paid installation: a paid invoice from the installing workshop confirming professional installation.
Insurance certificate: if applicable, proof of the vehicle’s insurance at the time of installation.
Installing workshop information: name, contact information, and certification/license details of the workshop that performed the installation.
Diagnostic evidence or part return: photos, test data, or physical return of the part when requested.
Important: Any new, used, or rebuilt parts sold or resold through GTE Engineering LLC, but not originally manufactured or rebuilt by GTE Engineering or PEGA Clutch™, are not covered under this warranty. Customers acknowledge and agree that any warranty claims for such third-party parts must be submitted directly to the original manufacturer or authorized vendor, and not to GTE Engineering LLC
Failure to provide all required documentation will void warranty coverage. GTE Engineering reserves the right to verify all documents and contact the installing workshop to confirm compliance with warranty conditions.
2.3 System Diagnostics & Verification
The installation workshop must:
Perform full system diagnostics
Confirm correct clutch values, pressures, calibrations, and adaptations
Ensure no external mechanical or electrical faults exist
Validate proper alignment, setup, and post-installation testing
Additionally, GTE Engineering strongly recommends obtaining a “before” and “after” NODE (or related system) printout for all rebuilds. This assists the customer and workshop in documenting proper system operation and provides objective evidence in the event of a malfunction. This procedure is consistent with authorized dealership practices.
2.4 Proper Maintenance & Operation
The vehicle must be maintained according to OEM standards. Failures caused by lack of maintenance, contamination, or improper fluids are excluded. Use of non-OEM fluids, additives, or incompatible components will void the warranty.
3. Exclusions and Limitations
This limited warranty does not cover any failures or damages resulting from:
Normal wear and tear or wear items (friction linings, consumables, or materials that wear during use)
Improper installation, adjustment, modification, or maintenance by non-qualified personnel
Misuse, abuse, neglect, contamination, accident, collision, overheating, or lack of maintenance
Failures due to unrelated vehicle systems (electrical faults, control modules, sensors, driveline misalignment, inadequate cooling, etc.)
Unauthorized alteration, repair, or modification of the product after delivery
Tuned or Modified Vehicles: Warranty does not cover any parts, whether supplied by GTE Engineering, PEGA Clutch™, or any third-party vendor/reseller, installed in vehicles that have been modified, tuned, or altered from OEM specifications, including but not limited to:
- Engine or transmission software tuning / ECU remaps
- Exhaust modifications
- Suspension or drivetrain modifications outside OEM specifications
- Racing applications, track-only use, or any other non-OEM modifications
Parts manufactured, rebuilt, or supplied by third parties other than GTE Engineering LLC or PEGA Clutch™, even if purchased through GTE Engineering’s platform or resale channels. Warranty claims for such parts must be directed to the original manufacturer or authorized distributor/vendor.
Under no circumstances will GTE Engineering be liable for incidental, special, consequential, indirect, or punitive damages, including loss of use, diminished vehicle value, loss of income, accidents, towing, rental costs, or vehicle downtime. All implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of the express warranty period to the maximum extent permitted by law.
4. Claim and Inspection Procedures
All warranty claims are subject to inspection by GTE Engineering or its designated representative. Warranty coverage will not apply unless GTE Engineering inspects the returned product or receives sufficient evidence to determine the nature of the failure. Products must be returned at the claimant’s expense unless otherwise instructed.
GTE Engineering reserves the right to designate where and how inspection takes place. No part of this warranty is effective until the claimant receives written authorization or claim approval from GTE Engineering.
4.1 Warranty Inspection Duration and Legal Costs
Inspection and evaluation of any warranty claim may take up to three (3) months from the date the product is received or diagnostic evidence is submitted.
If a legal action is initiated concerning a warranty claim, and GTE Engineering prevails, the customer shall be responsible for all costs incurred by GTE Engineering including inspection fees, labor, administrative time, shipping, and other related expenses.
GTE Engineering is not responsible for diminished vehicle value, accidents, loss, or other consequential damages, as detailed in the Terms and Conditions.
This provision does not limit or affect any other rights or remedies available under this Warranty Declaration or applicable law.
5. Relationship to Terms of Service
This Warranty Declaration is incorporated into and governed by the Terms found at terms‑of-service
- . The Terms contain additional provisions concerning warranties, liability limitations, dispute resolution, and governing law.
6. Reservation of Rights
GTE Engineering reserves the right to modify, update, or supplement this Rebuild Warranty at any time, including terms, procedures, and documentation requirements, without prior notice to any customer.
Such updates do not limit, reduce, or void the express warranty coverage for parts previously sold or services previously performed.
GTE Engineering retains the right to access records, invoices, and service documentation at any time to verify compliance with warranty conditions.
The date of purchase, installation, and submitted documentation will be used to determine warranty eligibility, regardless of subsequent updates or changes to this Warranty Declaration.
7. Jurisdiction, Shipping, and Scope of Warranty
Customer Consent for Shipping & Warranty Processing:
- By purchasing any part from GTE Engineering LLC, whether domestically or internationally, the customer consents to ship the part to the location determined by GTE Engineering for warranty inspection, evaluation, repair, or replacement.
- Warranty claims will be processed in the state or country where GTE Engineering LLC chooses to operate, at its discretion. Customers are responsible for shipping costs unless otherwise instructed.
- Supersession of Prior Warranties:
- This Warranty Declaration replaces and supersedes any and all prior warranties, statements, or representations, whether written or verbal, related to parts sold or rebuilt by GTE Engineering LLC.
- Applicability to All Parts Sold:
- This warranty applies to all parts sold, rebuilt, or to be rebuilt by GTE Engineering LLC, including:
- Parts manufactured or rebuilt by GTE Engineering or PEGA Clutch™

- Customers acknowledge and agree that coverage and exclusions are subject to the terms outlined in this Warranty Declaration, including third-party/resale exclusions and installation requirements.
8. Third-Party Platforms and Sales Channels
- For any parts sold through third-party platforms such as eBay, TikTok, or other online marketplaces, the platform’s terms and conditions apply in conjunction with GTE Engineering’s Warranty Declaration.
- All such sales are subject to GTE Engineering’s prior approval and must comply with the procedures, exclusions, and documentation requirements outlined in this Warranty Declaration.
- Warranty coverage for parts sold through these platforms will only be honored if the transaction complies with all applicable GTE Engineering terms, including installation, documentation, and inspection requirements.
- Customers acknowledge that GTE Engineering reserves the right to deny warranty claims if platform-specific procedures or our standards are not met.
