Ferrari maintenance and mechanical repair
A service visit starts with the model, mileage, time since the last service and available records. We plan fluid and filter changes, inspect for leaks and wear, and review the maintenance items applicable to the engine and drivetrain. Belt-driven and chain-driven engines have different requirements; service intervals and access procedures must match the particular Ferrari.
- Engine and cooling: investigate running concerns, oil or coolant leaks, cooling-system operation and relevant hoses, seals and pumps.
- Brakes and chassis: inspect brakes, tires, suspension and steering for the reported concern and agreed service scope.
- Electrical and air conditioning: assess starting, charging, warning messages and supported comfort-system faults.
Diagnosing your Ferrari
Tell us whether a fault appears cold or hot, during starting, under load or when selecting a gear. We use the vehicle’s history, inspections and supported diagnostic data to decide which electrical, hydraulic or mechanical checks are needed. A warning message or fault code is a starting point for investigation, rather than a replacement-part instruction.
The proposed inspection and repair scope is explained before authorization. If dismantling reveals additional work, the estimate must identify the required parts and services. Diagnostic labor, repair labor and replacement components follow the approved scope.
F1, clutch, DCT and PTU expertise
Ferrari F1 automated-manual controls, conventional manual gearboxes and Getrag dual-clutch transmissions need different diagnostic and repair procedures. We consider clutch condition, hydraulic supply, actuator operation, electrical inputs and the mechanical gearbox together when investigating a shifting complaint.
GTE rebuilds applicable Graziano transmissions and F1 components in-house. We also handle Getrag 7DCL750 and Ferrari FF/GTC4Lusso 4RM PTU work. The front PTU is a separate assembly from the rear transmission. For a 7DCL750 Stage 1 service, the scope is tear-down and inspection only; replacement parts, electronics and SAP/CCP refurbishment are additional when required.
PEGA clutch rebuilding, flywheel work, release components and vehicle setup are coordinated according to the approved estimate. Ferrari 360 OTO clutch projects and gated manual conversions require their own compatibility review. GTE is a Dodson authorized dealer for Ferrari applications; discuss suitability before selecting an upgrade.
Featured rebuild service: Ferrari Getrag 7DCL750

For applicable Ferrari dual-clutch applications, GTE offers inspection and rebuilding of the customer-supplied 7DCL750. Stage 1 covers tear-down and inspection only. Replacement parts, electronics and hydraulic-unit refurbishment are additional as required. Vehicle diagnosis, removal, installation and commissioning follow the separately agreed workshop scope.

From diagnosis to vehicle handover
- Discuss the concern: provide the vehicle details, service history and symptoms so we can plan the appointment.
- Inspect and diagnose: assess the car and perform the checks appropriate to the agreed concern.
- Agree the repair: review findings, parts requirements and the proposed work before proceeding.
- Repair and verify: complete the authorized work and applicable operational checks, setup or calibration before handover.
Bringing the car versus sending a component
A workshop appointment allows GTE to assess and repair the complete vehicle within the agreed scope. A send-in rebuild concerns the removed component supplied to us. If another workshop performs removal and installation, vehicle diagnosis, refitting and final commissioning must be coordinated with that installer. Confirm the correct service before arranging transport or shipping.
Ferrari service questions
Do you service the complete Ferrari or only rebuild parts?
Both. Vehicle appointments cover the agreed maintenance, diagnosis and repair work. Removed-component rebuilding is a separate service for owners and installing workshops.
Does an F1 warning mean the transmission needs rebuilding?
No. Clutch, hydraulic, electrical and mechanical concerns can produce similar symptoms. We diagnose the vehicle before recommending the repair scope.
Can you perform a major service?
Contact us with the VIN, model, mileage and service records. We confirm the applicable maintenance work, parts, access requirements and appointment availability for that car.
What will the work cost, and how long will it take?
Cost and turnaround depend on the vehicle, inspection findings, approved work and parts availability. Request an assessment with your vehicle details; a general service page cannot provide a reliable universal price or completion date.
