Maserati servicing and repair
We review your maintenance records, mileage, vehicle age and reported concerns to establish the service scope. Fluid specifications, maintenance intervals and repair procedures depend on the engine and transmission fitted; the model name alone is not enough.
- Engine and cooling: investigate running issues, oil or coolant leaks, cooling performance and related pump or hose concerns.
- Brakes, suspension and steering: inspect wear, noises, leaks and handling concerns before agreeing repairs.
- Electrical and air conditioning: assess starting and charging problems, warning messages and supported climate-system faults.
- Scheduled maintenance: plan applicable fluid, filter and inspection work using the car’s specification and service history.
Diagnosing your Maserati
Explain whether a concern happens at idle, during acceleration, when selecting a gear or after the car warms up. Share warning messages, fault reports and recent repairs. We use the complete vehicle assessment to distinguish a maintenance need from a component fault and to explain the proposed next steps.
The proposed inspection and repair scope is explained before authorization. If dismantling reveals additional work, the estimate must identify the required parts and services. Diagnostic labor, repair labor and replacement components follow the approved scope.
Cambiocorsa, DuoSelect and clutch systems
On applicable 4200, GranSport, Quattroporte and GranTurismo configurations, clutch operation and gear selection depend on the interaction of mechanical, hydraulic and electronic systems. We assess the fitted arrangement before recommending clutch work, hydraulic repairs or gearbox rebuilding.
Cambiocorsa, DuoSelect and MC Shift applications must be distinguished from conventional automatic variants. A Quattroporte or GranTurismo badge does not establish which transmission is installed. The VIN, model year and unit identification guide the correct service route.
GTE’s in-house capabilities include applicable Graziano gearbox and automated-manual component rebuilding. PEGA clutch rebuilding can be coordinated with flywheel and release-system assessment. Installation requires the appropriate checks, bleeding and calibration for that vehicle; a rebuilt component alone does not establish the condition of the surrounding systems.
Selected Maserati water pumps, steering racks and turbochargers also have component service options. Where relevant to a vehicle repair, we assess the received condition and confirm whether repair, rebuilding or replacement is suitable.

From diagnosis to vehicle handover
- Discuss the concern: provide the vehicle details, service history and symptoms so we can plan the appointment.
- Inspect and diagnose: assess the car and perform the checks appropriate to the agreed concern.
- Agree the repair: review findings, parts requirements and the proposed work before proceeding.
- Repair and verify: complete the authorized work and applicable operational checks, setup or calibration before handover.
Bringing the car versus sending a component
A workshop appointment allows GTE to assess and repair the complete vehicle within the agreed scope. A send-in rebuild concerns the removed component supplied to us. If another workshop performs removal and installation, vehicle diagnosis, refitting and final commissioning must be coordinated with that installer. Confirm the correct service before arranging transport or shipping.
Maserati service questions
Do all Maserati models use a Cambiocorsa-style clutch?
No. Maserati models and generations use different drivetrain arrangements. Confirm the fitted transmission before selecting a clutch service or hydraulic repair.
Can you investigate jerking, clutch slip or delayed gear engagement?
Yes. These symptoms require assessment of the installed clutch, controls and related vehicle systems. They do not by themselves identify the failed part.
Can I book maintenance without a transmission problem?
Yes. Contact GTE with the model, VIN, mileage and service history to discuss routine maintenance and other mechanical or electrical concerns.
What will the work cost, and how long will it take?
Cost and turnaround depend on the vehicle, inspection findings, approved work and parts availability. Request an assessment with your vehicle details; a general service page cannot provide a reliable universal price or completion date.
