Porsche maintenance, diagnosis and drivetrain repair
GTE Engineering provides independent Porsche service assessment, maintenance and repair. Tell us the model, year, mileage and service history so we can confirm coverage and plan the work for your particular vehicle.
Maintenance planned around your Porsche
- Engine and cooling: investigate running concerns, oil or coolant leaks, cooling performance and the condition of relevant hoses, seals and pumps.
- Scheduled service: review fluid and filter requirements, previous work and time- or mileage-dependent maintenance for the installed engine and drivetrain.
- Chassis and electrical: assess brake, steering and suspension concerns, starting and charging faults, warning messages and supported climate-system repairs.
PDK, clutch and mechatronic assessment
A shifting delay, transmission warning or fluid leak calls for vehicle diagnosis before selecting a replacement part. We review fault codes, operating conditions, service history and the checks required to distinguish clutch, hydraulic-control, electrical and mechanical concerns.
Our catalog includes a wet dual-clutch assembly and a remanufactured DL501/0B5 mechatronic assembly for listed applications, including applicable Macan variants. Confirm the VIN, gearbox identification and original component reference before ordering. These parts are not a universal fit for every Porsche PDK transmission.

Related component options
- Wet dual-clutch assembly — reference 9A714103010: confirm the required assembly and supply details.
- DL501/0B5 mechatronic assembly — circuit-board reference 0B5398009E: the listing requires cloning and VIN information. Discuss control-unit identification and installation requirements before ordering.
Component supply, removal and installation, fluid service and vehicle commissioning are separate items unless included in your estimate. Porsche manual, conventional automatic and electric-drive systems require their own application review.
Planning the repair
Describe whether the concern occurs cold, hot, under load or during gear selection. Include diagnostic reports and previous repairs. We agree the inspection scope, explain the findings and identify additional parts or work before proceeding. Following authorized repairs, applicable setup and operational checks are planned for that vehicle.
Porsche service questions
Can I book a complete vehicle rather than ship a part?
Yes—request a workshop appointment and confirm model coverage and arrival arrangements. A removed-component order does not include complete-vehicle diagnosis.
Does a PDK warning mean the clutch has failed?
The warning alone does not identify the failed component. Diagnostic findings determine the repair path.

Arrange your Porsche service visit
Send the VIN, model, year, mileage, service records, symptoms and available fault codes. Tell us whether you need maintenance, diagnosis, vehicle repair or a removed-component rebuild. Confirm the current workshop location and arrival arrangements before transporting the vehicle.
Diagnostic labor, repairs, parts and additional services follow the approved estimate. If another workshop installs a rebuilt component, coordinate vehicle-side checks and commissioning with that installer.
